HOTSTART EE heaters are hazardous location approved systems available in both single and three phase configurations and are hard wired directly into the main electrical system. The EE Series shares the same pressure die-cast aluminum tank and thermostat design found in HOTSTART CB and CL heaters, while adding an all-metal mounting bracket and higher heat output capabilities up to 5 kW for demanding Class I Group D hazardous locations.

Using thermosiphon convection circulation, the EE Series mounts externally from the engine block and relies on the natural rising of heated coolant to circulate warmth throughout the engine. Because no additional pump is required, thermosiphon heaters provide a simple, reliable, and adaptable heating solution for a wide range of diesel and gas engines.
